Project Caelifinis Subtitles, a Latin Language mod to add (eventually beginner friendly) Latin subtitles to NPC dialogue.

There will be times when the dialogue is shortened or uses Latin words that are cognates for English words for simplicity

Installation

When installing the subtitles, make sure they are installed after Project Caelifinis.

The future of this project is very open ended.

Upcoming Features

1. Improve build tool error detection

   1. ⭐⚠️ Perform semantic analysis on my latin translations

      1. Translate my Latin translations, back into English.
      2. Then do a semantic analysis of the sentences.
      3. Color code and rank the translations. The worst translations can be corrected earlier.

   2. Attempt to detect if english, greek, or italian shows up too much in the outputted translation.

2. Create “How to contribute” and “Style guide” and how to search for how common a latin word is / what books it is in.
3. Add translations for any of the menu dialogue and translations for common mod strings.
4. Review any phrases that show up in “conversational latin for oral proficiency” and make sure the translations are appropriate.
